Good morning all. Just a brief update. We went to Bangor last week for a biopsy on Jim's lung nodule. It was found to be another metastasis from his esophageal cancer, as was his brain cancer. The initial plan was to zap it with radiation and move on. However,
as it worked out (My dad used to say, "the best laid men...") there are 4 nodules, not 1. With that being the case, we are going to have to go the chemo route instead to get a systemic treatment. Depending on what the insurance company ok's, the option may
have to be a Folfox pump which has miserable side effects. The other (better) option is Cyramza combined with Abraxane. In either case, Jim will start infusions next Wednesday. </p>

out and about, but is using a cane in therapy.</p>
